HARDTOP in Carbon Fiber for MORGAN 4/4
Lovers of classic cars are in luck with the arrival of new technologies and the customization service provided by engineering companies specialized in 3d printing and carbon fiber such as SUPERCOMPOSITES3D.
This time the adventure took place in England. It all started when David Pugh started his personal project on his magnificent Morgan 4/4. His vision was to build a hardtop for his Morgan 4/4 with a design inspired by ART DECO vehicles from the 1930s. Specifically, he was inspired by the MG Aero Saloon.

3DPE (UK) works with David to make his dream come true.
The prototype of the new hardtop has already been developed and the team is now finalizing details before moving on to the next phase of the project.
In this case, once the model has been obtained, the engineering company has decided to scan it to obtain a CAD file with the geometry of the hard roof and thus be able to manufacture the mold to manufacture parts in prepreg carbon fiber (pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabrics). ). They have resorted to a technology used in F1 to give maximum lightness and robustness to a jewel from the 50s.
